Can you use the boost independently?
YesIs it now the same as the "damnation contour" option on the DirtFixer?
YesIs it the same size enclosure as the Dirtfixer?
This is now a must buy.It covers the range of the internal pre-gain trim on the MBD1 up through the 20dB boost on the MBD2 but is variable which allows for flexibility with gain staging. You can set the un-boosted sound for light growl and warmth and then hit the boost to get full distortion. You can also set the un-boosted sound for full drive and kick on the boost to take it over the top for high gain while retaining clarity. With a clean amp you can quickly access three levels of drive at your feet.
...make that a must, must buy.
Not that I've gotten rid of it 4 times.Well, damn.
I've already bought/traded for, an MBD pedal 4 times now.
What's a 5th time?
Hammertone Blue would be amazing. Will you be offering it in some special finishes or colors? I'm a huge fan of the Hammertone Blue MBD-2 and I know others really like the blacked-out version.
White on black is classic. I'd choose that anyway. No colors now. Trying to establish this new MBDs stock version.
I don't get what the big deal is, was the original that much different? I haven't heard much of a difference granted it's YouTube but still...
