My budget for pedals kind of dried up, but I also grabbed the BPD when it came out and have been quite happy with it. MBD > BPD is just great.
Look forward to some reviews/thoughts/clips or whatever of the new pedal though.

I'm not worried. I wanted to build enough so whoever wanted one got one. It's a niche and crazy idea. The draw would be limited. Thanks is to everyone who got one!
I absolutely love mine! I wanted to try it in another context before sharing a full review, but out of the gate it was just spot on. Not really a bad setting and simple enough for this doofus to dial it in and dirt up a rehearsal on Tuesday.
I love it! I haven't tried it with the band yet, but its my favorite version of the MBD sound-wise. And, the build of this thing is superlative
Same, the characteristics of the drive sound the best to me vs the 2 or latest, haven't tried the OG. I did miss the blend a bit, and the dirt fixer sorted that out like I said.

Is the tone control cut only with flat fully clockwise? Like a Fender tone control?
Or is flat at noon with "tilt" toward lows at CCW and highs at CW?

I've been very tempted to get the Retro, but the import charges to get it here would make it too expensive for me. Hope people are enjoying it!
Yeah, of course, did that, first. Didn't understand it. (Or I don't know what a tilt control is.). Sounds cut only to my ears.
Tilt will give you boosted lows/cut highs one way off noon and the opposite the other way, centered around a fixed frequency.

Honestly just use it above noon. The use cases for below noon are few and far between.
Thank you, helpful. That is what I am hearing, as well. It sounds like a cut only filter to me, no boost going on. But that's just me.
CCW does boost the lows but it’s subtle and lows are always harder to hear than highs. The tilt overall is subtle in a good way, I don’t hesitate to use it both ways, it’s really useful.
