I have my green Russian style muff in the Bloops loop too. It sounds awesome. Especially since I tend to run my tone really high on it it works out really well. I have my rat tail in it too and it gives it that extra bottom I felt it was lacking. I really like the note and attack definition it adds to anything you put in the loop too.

If I could afford it, I'd have all your pedals. I did get a parallel drive board though! :D My guy Dennis is going to build it out for me when I get the money. Can't wait for that! I really wanted the GMP as well as the Four Stroke (was that what it was called?) and the Contour Pre. That thing would've really come in handy depending on the setup I chose to go with.

I noticed a couple of things trying to get the GMP in the mix. 1 it’s a really great geetar pedal, but I am not much of a geetar player. 2 when running it through the looper it really tames the high gain so it’s more even between the low and high and makes it more of a small boost. Alone it really cranked the gain and lost some of the low end. Now I am really digging it a lot more thanks to the looper.

Do it. Definitely worth it. It’s a darker drive but it sounds beautiful. I’m actually gonna try and put mine back on to work in conjunction with the MBD to rip some high gain toanz!
Here’s a good example of the Bottle Rocket at work.

My usual settings are as follows

clean and level about 11 o'clock (depends on the setting)
tone about 1
gain about 11 or noon (depends on the bass I'm using)
depth totally CCW/off
switch set down

This gives me a really nice n full, yet articulate and grindy, barely there drive that still lets my bass's natural character shine through. It's very natural sounding to me.

This is almost exactly my settings, but I also turned the internal trim pot down to get less gain. I like the switch in both positions, but mostly I use it up.
