Just got my Microtubes 900. The clean channel is amazing. Totally impressed.

Also, do any of you guys happen to know (or can estimate) the size of the box for me? E.g. 15" x 15" x 8" or something like that...
Thank you!Nic, I just measured and the box is 10.5" wide X 9" deep X 2.5" tall. This doesn't include the feet and the knobs. The knobs add another 5/8" to the depth and the feet add about another 3/8" to the height.
Thank you!
I'm getting someone I know to help me bring it into my country, but I realize I could always do without the packaging.
By the way, the cable is just a generic power cable right?

Just ordered an IBEX Case that came up on Amazon when looking at options. It was a bit cheaper than the Pelican and was on Amazon Prime. I'll report back when it arrives Thursday.
Finally getting to play mine today
How are you guys setting your Clean Channel? I'm after super clean with plenty of punch behind it.
Low Gain high Volume?
Share some settings, if they aren't top secret![]()
Tone controls set to noon, Gain and Master both at about 11 o'clock is just awesome, in my book. But I'd suggest you do what I typically do with a new head, and play around with the Gain control so that you have a good feel for where your bass and your fingers will push the front end a little too far, and then back off a bit from there. Once this is dialed in, adjust the Master (and tone controls) to your liking, and you should be set!![]()
Looking forward to pics and model #. I had this out on a gig last nite. Needs a good case. Thanks.I got it and it is a nice fit. I forgot to take some pics but will take some tomorrow.
Thanks mate. Gain & Master @ 11 o'clock is pretty much where I had it set.
The one thing I find very strange is how hot the Level on the Microtubes Channel is. I had it set at about 7 o'clock and it was soooooo loud. Is yours the same?
Anyone else have any issues with the footswitch? I noted a few times that it did nothing - when it was turned on stepping on the footswitch did nothing, when it was off stepping on the footswitch did nothing. I had to Mute (hold for 3 seconds) the amp to get it working again. It seemed to happen less the more I played with it so I'm hoping it was user error of some kind.
Oh snap!!! it's getting real now.. thanx man. this cd sounds freaking badass. for those who aren't hip yet. get with it would ya.?

I record my demo stuff to give my other band members my riffs and music on Studio One, but this is the first time I'm doing more than hitting record and syncing it to a quick GoPro video.
I played one of our tracks through a looper, and physically ran it through each amp and recorded it... Now I'm chopping up the audio so I can remove pieces and jump between amps for the video.
I recorded the M900 clean, M900 with B3K, M900 with Vintage, GK MB800 Fusion clean, and my GK 1001RBii clean.
Hopefully I can get some progress on it done tonight. I'm hoping the levels come out ok, it's the first time I really messed with different inputs and trying to get them all to have the bass a little above the main track but not with too much gain.
Editing the video will probably take a while, or at least where I show which amp is active. The idea is to literally change to another amp each riff.
