Darkglass Microtubes 900 Class D Amp

I've got the video with the audio uploaded and unlisted to Youtube, but I'm not happy with the levels. The main track might be a little too loud and the 1001RBii tracking came in a little lower than I wanted. I adjusted the gain and everything on the amp and then adjusted the input level on my DAW but overall it's just low on volume. The M900 levels are ok but the Microtubes tracks and a little stronger. It's still a learning process.
I've just read that in "post" the DI-out level is combined with the master knob (if that's the right expression in English), which means when you are in post mode and turn up the master, you'll automatically increase the signal to the FOH.
Does anybody have any experience with this?

Mine came in but I don't want to spend $100+ on a case when I'm not going to take it on flights or anything. I picked up a heavy duty toolbox from home depot for $29 that I think will work just fine If I buy some felt and foam to line it. should I leave the amp as pictured or turn it sideways and fill that whole left area with foam?
I'd take one side of the orange organizers out as well as the divider and center the amp in that large area then use some pluck foam to secure it. Then I'd use the other side for cables and stuff (with the organizers taken out).

Finally was able to pick one up the other day - wow. First impressions was that this was a quality package. The build quality is top notch and has a very expensive feel to it.
This amp is LOUD. I had gain at 12 o'clock, master at 9 o'clock and hit the b string and instantly had to turn the volume down as it was way too loud! Played around a bit, volume knob seems pretty linear in its taper, it just keeps going louder....Then noticed the 2ohm switch was in, so I had put the 4ohm output down to 500w! Clicked that and even more volume! It has that GK 1001Rb II slam, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually a bit louder!
The B3K and VMT tones sound natural, and I actually prefer their voicing and blending with the amps inherent tone than the pedal varieties. It made my B7K Ultra sound slightly muffled in comparison.
All in all, very stoked!

I picked one up a few weeks ago and just got to test it in full yesterday.
Loud. Yeah. Lol. It's loud. I'm really just digging into it but I'm really likin It so far. I have tried several cabinets and several basses and it handles them all very well.

any one have experience A-B'ing the M900 with the Berg B amp? MarkBass T800? SVT CL?

I can comment on the m900 vs b-amp as I currently own I think. B-amp is perhaps a little more tweakable, although I find the M900 has more than enough flexibility. Both are brutally loud, perhaps the volume comes on quicker in the M900. All flat and clean, both amps are very similar.
Both are top notch bits of kit, for me the m900 is just a little bit more my thing. For others, the b amp will be it and a bit.
Can't go wrong with either!

Doug said the gig bags should be available in December. I need to get one too as I'm starting to use the M900 for giging.
Thanks for the input! I have compared the b amp with mb t800 at length. While the b amp was superior, with a hard tight flexible sound, it seemed the t800 had a weightiness or punch &'deepness I could not get them b amp to emulate. Sort of like the b amp was just a bit to clinical or cold... hard to explain - but I'm hoping the m900 may have more "push" behind the notes ... any thoughts ?
I agree with this. I can't really even use the B7K on the pedalboard anymore because it's just too much. I thought I could maybe use it along with the amp for an added distortion but I just use my B3K since it doesn't mess with the EQ. I've had a Vintage in my possession before and I really didn't like the tone. But the Vintage setup in the M900 is different to me. I feel like I could go between B3K and Vintage and like them all.
I just got confirmation that mine shipped out yesterday. I'm expecting to get it Monday, I just have to figure out getting my Warwick 411 Pro cab from my practice space so I can spend some time with it and see what it can do. I'm hoping that cab will be a nice match with it as it can really deliver a nice low end, but I've never explored higher frequencies through it.

I usually run the b7k at 50% blend with volume and distortion at 12 o'clock so it is pretty present in the mix. The distortion is definitely audible. I feel like, given that I use that much of the b7k, I should be able to get the same tone from the Darkglass amp but I'd also have a lot more flexibility with the gain... I'm using the older b7k, not the Ultra.
Also one more question, will the amp fit in a Mono M80 pocket? Raw dimensions say yes but that pocket can be a little weird sometimes.

I don't have any experience with the Aguilar but you can get the exact same tones and distortion levels from the Darkglass amp as your B7K.
Also, I just put the amp in my M80 pocket. It fits perfectly!
You're right about that pocket but yes, it will fit. I just checked and it did zip up. Might be tighter with a bass or two in there though.
