Brad was the one that helped me out. I was impressed with the fast response cuz a lot of the time using those on line contact forms is like sending a message in a bottle. Was it Scott Fraser or Jerimie Schieder or Brad Mader? They're all good guys!

They’ve always been good experiences for me dealing with Brad, Scott and Jerimie with the exception of basses from 2010 and older.Brad was the one that helped me out. Got this a couple months ago. Was one of those trips to GC where you go to just get some strings and end up spending quite a bit more than you expect. This was one of those situations where you feel like if you don't get this now, you'll probably never get the chance to get it again. These were being made around the same time that I was starting bass back in 07~08 and had stary eyes for being in a metal band but definitely couldn't afford at the time, so the purchase definitely had a bit of nostalgic weight behind it. It's honestly in incredible condition, having only one of the pointy bits scuffed and the hardware worn from age, and the fact that it came with the case is the icing on top. Still being in said metal band, I wanted to put it in BEAD, but I'm hesitant to file the nut and the thick B string won't fit through the hole in the body in the bridge. For the moment, I got the thickest set of standard strings (60-120) and tuned them down, but they're pretty floppy. Being a V shape and having a 35 inch scale means playing this thing sitting is really taxing if not downright impossible, but it's surprisingly stable on the strap. It's got some obvious neck dive, but not as egregious as some other basses I've played before. Plus, my second bass was a Dean Metalman Z, so I've gotten used to a bit of neck dive over the years. Already playing one gig with it, but may have to wait on another until I find a stand that can actually handle this massive beast, which so far has yielded no results without spending over 100. Might have to look into making one myself...
I'll have to check my catalog info.View attachment 7187640
Looks like it's a 2010, know of any differences they did between the years?

Finally I played in public. Just some preliminars songs and the theme of a play (and doing the special effects. We were the live soundtrack) The Rhapsody sounded perfect. No amp, no preamp. Just the Rolls PM351 and direct to the mixer.
The sound is from the mic of the phone and didn't record the bass properly. But the bass sounded strong, round and present. The bass player need some recover from the long lethargy. Saddly, I'm hidden back and you cannot see the bass.

I can clearly see the Rhapsody HB in the picture. Fretted or Fretless model.
Just get it or have you had it for a while?
It's the fretted version. I'd wish it was the fretless one. I have it from some years ago, before the COVID.Nop. I`d like, but I didn`t gig at all. The band is in its COVID-rest, yet. I hope we can rejoint in september. For sure, I`ll do some researhal sessions with it.
You're correct. Only made one year. I've never seen the Metallic Red one listed below. There's also a Fluorescent Yellow.Hey y'all!
Just made a deal today from Guitar Center on a Custom Zone; black body, maple board. Came across a post several pages back that says the black & maple was from the first year of the model's production, so that's intriguing. What string spacing do the CZones have?
Never owned one of these before, so I'm excitedly awaiting this bass.View attachment 7200081
Yep, that’s a Jack Russell. She’s a female and on the smaller side. She’ll be 4 years old on June 30.I have read a mix of reviews of the CZone bass, and its sound, and would like to hear from you-all wot owns 'em: stock pickups nice, or do most of you change them out?
B-Mac: what kind of dog in your avatar? Jack Russell terrier?
Very nice cleaned up! That G string isn't that bad. Mine was worse! I had the nut replaced with a black Tusq nut.Aw yeah! It’s here!
Nice condition! Only issue to me is a slight misalignment of the strings; G has narrower gap to edge than the E.
