Mine is on the way..... Really!

Now I have 2 on the way. Just scored a New Cort B5 in Metallic Black off Evil Bay for $259 after shipping. Bummer is I have to wait a month before I can play them as I am in Taiwan working now. It's going to be fun when I get home though!!!

Thats amazing that these are finally shipping. I actually just sold both my Q4 and my Q4 bartolini. I decided to sell the Q4 and the guy who bought it liked it so much he wanted to buy the Q4 bartolini for a friend. I bought them for $139 each and sold the Q4 for $220 and the bartolini for $240. They were great basses but I have found so many great low cost basses recently that I don't mind selling a few.

As today is my birthday, I had hoped to see the magical "Item has shipped" message... However news that others are shipped is very encouraging and quite nice birthday news. So I am 3-4 weeks behind Andy D...nov 14. Hope that time correlation holds true!

Rather to my annoyance, I see that though they promised me three-day shipping, this is going by regular ground.

In itself the delay is nothing, but five days on winter highways from Illinois does not bode well for instruments this year.

Though it's rare, I have received two climate-wrecked instruments from shipping/warehousing in this kind of weather.

Here, on the other hand, I am in a T-shirt and shorts, sweating and grunting trying to finish my roof project before the next storm. :hmm:

Mine just showed up at home, and there it will sit for another month until I get home from Taiwan. My Cort B5 should be arriving later today. March 15 wil be a double NBD, can't wait. I'll weigh in on both basses after get home and get familiar with them.

Good thing is I have my Chinese made counterfeit Warwick and Korg Pandora to practice on over here.
