Hi there! Any ideas on how to emulate a Motown/James Jamersonish kind of sound?

You could try using the ampeg b15 amp model along with a 1x15 cab model to get a motown sound. here's what I came up with.

Compressor: cs comp---70---40---90
Distortion: off

EQ: warm---4---1785---4---3
Chorus: off
Reverb: off
Delay: off
Expression: volume

Crystal man, big thanks to you. I just bought a BP355 and your patch ideas are very good. Thank you for sharing them.
I came up with more patches, starting from you VT bass clean.
I wonder why you dont post the patches in .bp355p format as it could be very useful.
Here attached find the patch a came up from your VT bass clean. It was made using a PJ bass with all knobs turned up, so for some basses it may be necessary to adjust the gain level.
You only have to change the extension from .txt to .bp355p (the site didn't let me upload .bp355p file).

All effects are prepared to be used too, so you can try it with chorus and or reverb etc...
