Sorry. Wasn't trying to gloat, just publicly show appreciation. It's the DOD phasor 201 reissue. Really good sounds out of it. Love how it doesn't go over the top wooshy. Good sounds from the whole speed dial. Sounds good on top but got a lil boomy in the tip top speed. Sounds fantastic with my acoustic/electric which I've been planning to make a small all analog/no dirt/old school board for. I believe they're limited edition as well, which makes it extra special. This being a gift will be one of those pieces of gear that never gets sold. Kinda like your DOD delayWhat was it?!?!? Id like to know what I possibly missed out on by not posting an opening vid......

That's not quite as low as I had hopedWe spec'd 28.5 Hz as the lowest frequency to track reliably. It will track lower freq's but we didn't tailor it for anything below that.

Are you sure? 28 hz is like an octave below a Low B string, I believe. What are you playing that goes down there? That might be the lowest piano note!

I think what he's saying is that if you use regular whammy modes instead of harmony modes, you can simulate the harmony by running the Whammy in one LS-2 loop and your dry signal through the other. And the LS-2 gives you volume control over both parts. However, the limitation is that I don't think you can get all of the equivalent harmony modes doing it this way. But I don't know that one way or the other because I don't own it, I don't remember the various intervals off of the top of my head, and I don't 100% understand how the stated intervals work in harmony mode.
I've got a question for Boss LS-2 users.
I use an OLD bass whammy and I realised that when mixed (A+B mix mode, A loop=Whammy, B=nothing=clean signal, same level for A and B) with my clean signal through the LS-2, if the whammy is bypassed (=off) my signal is really thin. This means the phase is inverted. It's not the case if the whammy is turned on, depressed and in example in "Octave up shift" mode, thus signal is not inverted...
Did anyone experimented the same ?
And by the way, does the NEW bass whammy invert phase when turned on ?
Sounds like the Whammy is not true bypass, and that the phase is inverted in bypass mode. (?)
