Howdy folks. Just want to get some opinions on the look of this truss rod on a used Combustion I picked up a while back. I don't have the specific allen key for it but does it look like it's messed up to you guys? It's hard to get a good pic of it in detail but it looks like someone took a drill to it or something.

Pretty sure they're just run of the mill Hipshot UltraLite tuners. Come on 3/8" and 1/2" if I recall correctly.Question - I just received my new NG-2, and I absolutely love the Hipshot tuners that came on it. Best I've ever used by a long shot. I was hoping to put a set of those on another bass I am working on, and wondered if anybody can tell me what specific part those are.

Do you need 4 or five of them? I have a set of four of the Smoked Chrome that came on my NG-2. I switched to black. If you need/want them, just give a shout.
They’re Hipshot Ultralights
it would be a different configuration than the Dingwall anyway, I would imagine, as I need 4 straight and 1 reverse.
They can be taken apart and flipped from bass side to treble side, and vice versa.
I do realize you need 5, just giving more info.
I am having a pickguard made with Pickguardian right now. Should have it back this week. Will let you know how it turns out.I am just wondering but does anyone have the pickguard template of the Dingwall Combustion 5?
Or know where I can get a custom pickguard made?

It may have been an ABZ with an F hole then

My new NG2s did come with tools. Not the same grade of fancy tools with color-coded heatshrink tubing like the Canadians, but perfectly good quality tools nonetheless. Nice, thoughtful touch. Also, the production Chinese basses do NOT come with Allen keys as far as I know. I’ve bought 4. 3 of them were used though. I do know that you used to be able to order a set from Dingwall off the website.
Well gosh darn it..... lol. Look at me filling the internet wth false info. My apologies fellasMy new NG2s did come with tools. Not the same grade of fancy tools with color-coded heatshrink tubing like the Canadians, but perfectly good quality tools nonetheless. Nice, thoughtful touch.

The NG2 basses are shipped not in cases, unless you add a case to the order. So if you did not get a case, maybe the tools were loose in the box somewhere, dunno. The sticker looks like it came from Saskatoon because it is printed in the same font and style as the document that accompanies the Canadian basses.Could that have been a perk provided by the seller? Just curious? Or is long and mcquade hording metric Allen keys. Lol.
That said. There’s the sizes of anyone’s interested. Thanks @xnewyorka
