Dingwall Owners Club

I have tickets for the Mariners vs. Yankees game on 9/9. I'm looking to make it a twin bill and catch the game and do BassCON at the latter stages. Thanks for the recommendations on the NG-2 to NG-3 things. It's just a thought in the back of my mind. There's really nothing wrong with the NG-2 (just idle minds thinking through things).

Cool. I'll have my 3x by then, and there may be one or two more there too if that'll help you play around with things to settle your mind one way or the other :)

Looking forward to BassCON. It was very cool last year and Odin Brewery is a great venue.

Is your 3x a Combustion or is it a Canadian custom? I wouldn't mind seeing your Prima again.

I'm debating which bass to bring. I have a Lull Non Reverse T-bird 5 string that is the best passive bass I've ever owned or my Modulus Q6. It could be my NG-2, though.

It's an Afterburner 1. So a good bit different, but lots of overlap. I'd actually love to play the NG series -- would be nice to get another taste of the DarkGlass pre. If you don't mind schelping it :)

Some more pics. Drought and forest fires are raging in Sweden ATM. 35 degrees Celsius/95 degrees Fahrenheit. No rain for months. Aprx 60 forest fires going on. Hence the extremely dry yard. Luckily, I have free access to the pool in the background.

Your yard looks green enough to me.

Refresh my memory; that’s an HS isn’t it? Since getting mine I haven’t been able to put it down.

Put some TI flats on my Super PJ5 and I'm really loving them, now I'm wondering if they'd work as well on the ABZ or Combustion...

I also picked up a Darkglass AO Ultra, I've never been able to get an overdrive sound I really like from Darkglass pedal and have ended up flipping them after a couple of months and wondering what all the fuss was about. This one is something else, plays really well with the Super PJ.

I really like my AOU, but I think it worked better for my SP5 than my ABHS (personally, YMMV, IMO etc). I'm getting new strings for the ABHS next week (ordered today from England), and to be fair the strings currently on it are mostly dead. I'm hoping the string change will make all the difference (it most likely will). I'm very interested in the Tech21 NYC DP-3X, as it seems to have the kind of grit and edge I'm looking for in my tone. While the AOU can deliver pretty much any kind of distortion you could ever want, it might actually be a bit overkill for me personally (I don't use very much distortion).
