Onboard preamp 3-band

The GLOCKENKLANG 3-band onboard preamp is active/passive switchable (at the volume push/pull), has a balance-pot with no volume dip in center-position, a treble-pot with +/- 18 dB@18 KHz in active mode, acting as classical highcut in passive mode, mid-pot +/- 9 dB@550 Hz and a bass-pot with +/- 14 dB@40 Hz. Battery-connection is 9 volts.

Due to the high performance electronic, in flat position of the eq you can hear no difference between active and passive mode!
It comes pre-wired with highflexible cables.

Don´t mind the frequencies, we choose them very carefully!

The preamp is also available with stacked treble/bass pot. In this case, the passive treble blend is not available!

Yeah, those both are classy! As is the Combustion C3 Trans-White and Trans Black, very classy IMO. For the NG3 I am still liking the discontinued Red, the Purple & Purple Swirl, and Blue & BlueSwirl as well.

hahaha...so many choices. I guess my absolute fav is no longer available, or rather will only be available through dealers who ordered the last ones from production - they are still trickling in - is the RED. Of the current colors...arghhh, I just can't decide....
edit: OK, White-Swirl gets my vote as my current fav.

That logic is sort of like saying I don't like BMW's because there are so many of them on the road. Personally, I prefer to to just take things at face value for what they are, regardless of whether there are any others out there or not. I either like them or I don't, in an absolute sense. That's just me, but I'm kind of black and white, I admit. Personally, I dig the Dingwall swirls a lot, and never saw one that I wouldn't be delighted to own. I would even love to see combo swirls like red and blue, or purple and orange, or purple and yellow.

In person I really liked pretty much everyone I have seen or owned. From pictures or from a distance I think I like this white one the best.
I can’t wait to see a QM combustion though.

I think I would like some multi colour swirls!! I don’t think I would gravitate to owning one but I bet in person they would look pretty damn sweet.

Except red and green. And that only except at Christmas time. !!! ;)

My Combustion is solid gloss black. If I can't have a blue flame maple top (or some variation on it with a burst) then gloss black is my go-to.

Luckily, my AB has a beautiful teal and blue burst (not sure what that is called by Dingwall, but I don't think it's Whalepool)...

Hiya guys, I finally got myself a Dingwall. It's a combustion 5 3. It's stunning, the setup is perfect for me and the sound is just amazingly versatile to me! I can't thank this group enough for helping me decide.
Mark from Bass Direct took care of everything and it was great!
The only hiccup was when I wanted to double-check the pickup selector switch for the combustions' 3 pickup models on the Dingwall site and it only showed the results for the d-bird. Even on the page of the combustion.
To be honest, I'm selling off all the rest of my gear. I just wanted a cure for my GAS and have as little equipment as a result. I want to go from 4 basses and 3 guitars to just 1 bass and 1 electric guitar. The Dingwall solved the bass side for me. Keep a lookout on the Classifieds for a Thumb 5 BO made in Germany 2002 if any of you's interested.
For the guitar side, I'm thinking variax shuriken from line 6 since I enjoy playing all sorts of genres.
