Note, if you've got a maple neck or fingerboard that you've worn through the finish on...Tru-Oil is your best bet to re-seal. I reached out to Sheldon a while back and discussed as I've worn through the poly on the Rastaburst in the 2-7 fret range (on the back of the neck)...and now have done similarly to the NG3 on both the face of the fretboard as well as a good portion of the treble side of the neck.

Curious for myself, as the finish on my old P bass's maple neck has been starting to lift/wear through. I don't mind, it's just mojo and makes it more unique, but I'd like to make sure I'm looking after it.
