Pretty close, Nate! Not sure I could bring myself to part with the NG2. Even though it still has the plastic film on the pickguard, that is the one Dingwall that I actually play!
The ones that almost never get to see the light of day are:

-ABZ, black-natural burst, Darkglass preamp, wenge fb (new)
-Super J, P-Tone neck pup, FDV middle and bridge pups, flamed maple custom top, wenge neck/fb, block inlays, 3rd FDV for neck and also 3 FD3's
-Super P, maple neck, wenge fb (mint)
-Z3 Incredible green/yellow spalted maple top, wenge contrast layer, Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp, FDV pickups, maple neck, maple fb with Luminlay side dots (new)
-Z3 Ducatti white matte, wenge neck, wenge fb with speedo bars, Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp, FDV pups (new)
6-string:
ABZ, trans blackburst, passive, wenge neck & fb, FD3 pups
I confess I did play the white Z3 for a few hours. I had an extremely difficult time putting it down, and may not want to let that one go either.
Wow!! I’ll let you know if anything changes on my end. I would be enthralled with pretty much any ONE of those.
Pics or it's not real! I really want a Super J with the 3X setup.

Too funny! I'd say this bass is the most real of all my Dingwalls! It has seen the most use (by its original owner only), and is also the most substantial in terms of weight (10.375 lbs.) and sustain. It punches like George Foreman, and is tied for first place with the green/yellow one for being the most beautiful. When you pick it up, you can get lost just looking at it and almost forget that you actually picked it up to play it. But then when you strike that first note, the ear-to-ear grin sets in, and you say, "Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about!"

I don't know the official name, but I believe it's commonly known as 'pure sex'.
I'm quite certain that's the official name. Contact Dingwall sales right away to get yours.
I suspect you could fire the serial number over to Dingwall to find out. I’m huessing vintagebucrst.
It’s upsetting that so much of the Dingwall gallery with all the finish examples was taken down and not replaced. Those were invaluable when trying to spec something.

I really wish they'd post the names, addresses, and social security numbers of their owners as well. Searching Reverb, Talkbass, and eBay for "Dingwall Super" every day is getting old. I could track down potential basses much easier with the above information.
