Ah I see! I spoke to Hari - the call ended up being productive though as he is looking into placing a D-Roc Custom 5-string for me...

Anyone have experience with TI flats on their Dingwall? I love them on my 4 string parallel bass, but I'm skeptical of the balance and that .136 non tapered B string going on my 34-37".

I love them on my Super PJ5. Can’t speak to how they work on the longer scale DWs.

Same, had TIs on my Super PJ and liked them a lot. Not tried flats on the long scales.

As with the others above, they work just fine on a SJ or SP, although not my personal strings of choice

I put TI flats on both five, and six string AB-1’s. I really liked them on both. I did need shorter saddle screws for the .136 B string, but that’s an easy to find cap head stainless screw. I ran B-G or C, but if I had a five string I’d go E-C. Nice chord sounds with the TI flats.

Eventually, I’ll order another set for my AB-1 four string. I always have a set for the Super P, but I run rounds when the whim hits.

I really like the soft, flexible feel, and warm solid tone. They do cool things when you dig in. I’m digging really light sets now and the .040 TI jazz flat set feels lighter.

Check with Jason at Fret Nation.com for individual strings to make up a set that fits the AB-1 or Z scale. He will set you up.

Yes. I have these on my fretless and didn't need to change anything. On another AB2 I have Payson True Flats. I like them even better and the B is only 120. No issue there either. Those Payson Flats are so smooth that some times you have to pay attention to where you are.
