Lol! I have recently 'given up' on 5 string basses. Traded one 5 string Combustion for a 4 string D-Bird and one 5 string NG-2 for a 4 string Afterburner. Just decided I am not the kind of player or writer who takes advantage of the 5th string. I'll have one bass in BEAD and one in AEAD. Someday I will probably have a 5er again, but I'm feeling a lot more comfortable on 4s right now.
If it's for a 5 string, I accept! Most gracious of you.
OK, here you go. Three files, two are PDF scans, one is a JPG. All are done on 8.5x11 paper so you have reference to print and size it correctly. I haven't edited any of the image sizes (all 8.5x11).
These are WONDERFUL! Thank you so much!

Keep in mind that since the pickguard I scanned was white on the front (and beveled edge in places) you'll have better luck using scan of the back of the guard (black version).
PDF1 ... I haven't flipped it, so it will look reversed (but if you're cutting templates super easy to cut then flip). Ignore any drop-shadow. It's actual shadow from the scanner.
PDF2 is the front of the pickguard scanned. It's probably a better reference for what the bevel is and where.
JPG is the same as PDF1 (size, etc) but has been flipped so it looks correct.
As with any pickguard fabrication, try with paper versions first, make sure your drill holes are lining up and adjust accordingly. There will most likely be some sanding to get the fit around the neck and the bridge pickup no matter how precisely it's cut.
This is a stock Dingwall Combustion V4 with the EMG size/shaped pickups. Should it differ from what you need, I would suspect that at the very least the pickup placement will be dead on (because of the body rout for the pickup options across models.

^Files on my google drive. Access and download at will. *copy that line, paste in your browser, then remove the 3 spaces I put in to make it complete/contiguous.
At some point the V4 truss cutout changed - more even and rounded at the end - here is a scan of that for anyone who may need it - I BELIEVE the pickups routes/placement are identical but YMMV

I have a feeling that this ended up being a change to specifically that access cut rather than the shape of the underlying cavity, etc so there was better wrench access. I'd have to lay the two on top of each other, but I'm guessing they're still interchangeable, and it would be up to whoever to decide which they like for use.
Question to all the european dingwall owners : what do you use for a tuner ?
I tried to buy a ST300 but nobody has it here .. well musik-produktiv supposedly has it but their website does not work![]()
That's my guess as well, and I suspect that is the only difference. Like you said - if in doubt, print them out

Not in Europe, but any Peterson dealers there? This is the one I'd grab now if I didn't have a few others...

Ooh, nice! I love both my ST-300 Mini and my Peterson StroboRack, and this looks like a blend of the two.
But I digress--there's an international orders page for the ST-300 that covers European countries: [This invalid link has been removed]. @ThisYouCanTrust may have already explored that option, of course. NFI in Sonic Research.
If my ten-year old Peterson ever stops working, this would be its replacement.![]()
