Anyone know of a good cleaner/wax that will keep my black burst Combustion from looking like a gross phone screen?

It's crazy because I'm a dry skinned guy.

I always keep returning to Dunlop 65. Don't forget to wax it here and there too.

While this is alright for Dingwalls, I wouldn't recommend Dunlop 65 due to the silicone in it. Silicone and nitrocellulose lacquer do not play nice. I would recommend Gibson's "Pump Polish". It is in an orange bottle. It cost about the same price and it is safe for everything.

Not from the factory. They use a super thin poly coat, as posted above.

Not a fan of that nitro stuff, I don't want something delicate, prone to staining and destined to have crazing.

It is not like the super thin finish on something like an ABZ is durable. I put a huge dent in my ABZ the first week I had it. It merely bumped into a coffee table. Dingwall Combustions, on the other hand, do get a more durable, thicker coat.

Dunno much about non-NG, I play them when I can, but never tried any dent testing. As much as try to baby my NG, it does go out of the house, and twice when I tried using a guitar stand that belonged to the church, the stand catastrophically failed. Not a scratch on the NG!

First outdoor show with my Combustion today at Beau's Oktoberfest, punk rock and beer on a Saturday afternoon is a good combination.
This one is my punk rock bass so it doesn't see the sun much, it spends most of its time in dank basements.
