Wow! And yesterday was the birthday of George Furlanetto (FBass). Two phenomenal Canadian builders of exquisite instruments with birthdays one day apart. I do not own a Dingwall bass yet, but I'm already dreaming of my future build specs.

Is there any chance that Dingwall will start offering other brands of pickups in their basses in the future?

We can install any of the Nordstrands that will fit on a custom basis.

My dealer mentioned 18 months extra starting as of today. So 8 + 18 months total I might buy a stock D-Roc standard in the meantime to help the GAS

I must live in that Star Trek opposite universe where they wore a little dagger insignia on their shirts. I have a Super P and am waiting on a D-Roc Standard. For me, though, I ordered it in July and the wait should be almost over.

We also worked out the Hipshot Solo's are not drop-in replacements for the Dingwall Combustion bridge, yeah?

I dunno, 26 months is past my limit to wait for a Bass. And I really want a Super 5 spec’d to my liking, so I don’t say that lightly.
A lot can (and does) happen in 26 months.

With all the extra things Sheldon is doing to get things out the door, that is a little surprising. Maybe they forgot to place the order...

Doubt it. They sent me an email in September with an ETA of March 2020. Something else must have happened

Did you change any specs to the order? Changes can cause delays sometimes.
