What would 3mm ghost dots even look like? I'm trying to picture it. Wouldn't they be too small to make them look like a distinguishable "O"? But, it's funny you asked this, because I was wondering this same thing today when dream designing my perfect Dingwall. Great minds think alike!

Honestly, I'd actually prefer no face dots, so tiny, indistinguishable dots would be just fine,

I just think it would look super cool!

D-Roc with a figured bubinga body and full wenge neck. No fretboard inlays. Luminlay dots on the side. Natural finish. Not sure if I'd want 4 or 5 string. Either way, I'd love a matching pair

I just received the 3X upgrade kit for my NG2 but can't seem to find a wiring diagram !
Also, I don't know which selector switch I have as it doesn't have any indication on the switch its self !

Musical Instruments To Be Exempt From Restrictions On Heavily Trafficked Rosewood

The way I understood it is that the species which were added to CITES in 2017 (dalbergia/guibourtia) are now once again legal to use for musical instruments (since the abuse came from chinese furniture basically).

So this means rosewood, bubinga, cocobolo, etc.

When I ordered my black NG2, rosewood fret board was not available, I was a little bummed at the time, but now I like the light / dark contrast of the black body and headstock with the light maple neck ! The thing plays as smooth as silk too !!!
This is the first I've heard about the CITES bad being lifted !

Some companies continued to use those woods just went to the trouble of dealing with the paperwork etc.

a prime example is Warwick using bubinga on the regular up to present times.

regardless of what’s available or not, the NG spec is maple.
Rosewood(previously) and pau ferro(currently) is available on combustion’s. not Nollys.

Poor phrasing from my side. The restrictions from CITES which concerned us have been lifted. We want bubinga now !
