Of course not. Those are completely different basses. One is super dark brown, has five strings and a cello hip, the other is bright red and has six strings. I mean... I don't even know what to say. Nor do I know how to play these instruments. And also, the bass that I'm buying today has four strings and isn't even a Dingwall(*). I have no impulse control issues at all. This is totally normal. This forum is filled with people who will reinforce this believe...

I’d love to see another run of the yellow NG’s. I’m GASing for an NG3-5 in that specific yellow. Unfortunately I got back into playing a bit after they stopped making them in that color.

Not sure why you posted this...but although not my genre I'm a huge Steffan Lessard fan. That guy can write and play some incredible lines.

So, I feel like in some odd way I've unlocked a new Dingwall household level of achievement.

Last night (after a glass of wine or two) Mrs. Skies commented that she thinks she'll reupholster our Heywood Wakefield mid-century dining room cats eye chairs...in a dark green.

It happens every handful of years, and they've been done in a nice deep turquoise color for a bit. The original fabric being long gone and replaced by previous owners with some tragically bad choices. Anyway, she said "it's a color that goes through all our rooms and ties everything together...pointing out the house plants, the oriental rug in the dining room, some paintings in several rooms and that our bedroom is blue with green accents.

Then in an off handed comment..."and now you have that green bass...I didn't notice the color until it was hanging in our bedroom..." (the only place outside of the dedicated BurningSkies musical laboratory a bass is allowed to reside in perpetuity)... "And once the green bass was there, I realized how perfectly it goes with everything in the house, and how much I LOVE that color..."

To which I said, "Ah...you're redecorating the house to match my Super-P."

...And she thought for a moment and said..."Yes..."

Judging by the carpet in that room, sonic blue is a much better choice IMHO
