I hate fedex. I hate fedex. I hate fedex. I hate fedex. I hope it comes tomorrow... Did i mention i hate fedex?Well, turns out FedEx doesn't know how to operate doorbells so no NBD today.
Call and raise hell maybe you can intercept itWell, turns out FedEx doesn't know how to operate doorbells so no NBD today.
Their all the same it seems like. Disorganized, unconcerned with the welfare of your package, and very difficult to get answers from.Well, turns out FedEx doesn't know how to operate doorbells so no NBD today.
It’s probably sitting in a back logged line upMy White ABZ 4/3x has basically been stuck in customs in the UK since 8/2. No change to status since then. Bass Direct used a shipping service called InterParcel but it’s a UPS shipping service (Global Express I believe).
UPS can’t do anything until they have the bass in hand. Mark from Bass Direct has reached out to Customs but nothing yet. That’s my current shipping hell.
I've had good experience with bass direct, they're good people. It will come, just let it clear customs. My White ABZ 4/3x has basically been stuck in customs in the UK since 8/2. Just read online about fedex. Do not ever use them if you can help it.Their all the same it seems like. Disorganized, unconcerned with the welfare of your package, and very difficult to get answers from.
I’ve called around enough to be able to sneak over to the depot at the end of day and pick up in person as an option. Doesn’t always play out but sometimes.
With that, I have in the past on a rare occasion spoke with the right person who will actually make attempts to contact the driver. It can all be done they just prefer not to invest the time.
To me, the big plus of FedEx is that they're not UPS.
My UPS grudge is from a number of antics dating to the 2000's.
They often wouldn't bother to try to deliver though they'd track it as attempted or something stupid like 'house abandoned' when there was obviously people there. One day, I sat on my front second floor deck waiting for a delivery...to see UPS pull up, not get out of the van, then drive off...and watched the tracking change on my laptop saying they'd tried.
Then came the day my AB1 was arriving from Bass Central. I was at work but had tracking up on my computer. I was thinking that they'd make the attempt, then I'd pick it up at the UPS warehouse the next day. I was alarmed when it listed as 'delivered' on the tracking with no one home and signature required. I texted my roommate who happened to work down the street from our flat and he quickly ran back home. Found it standing on our front steps just a few feet from the sidewalk/busy street unattended.
I called UPS when I got home and went though all the menus to get a real person. They looked up the signature and the name they listed wasn't ANY of our neighbors. None of them. The driver had made up a name and dumped the package...which was also damaged. The box had taken an impact on the end which did drive the headstock of the instrument into the side-wall/flange of the case which had also deformed the case and bruised up the headstock tip.
I've sometimes had FedEx issues too, but NOTHING like that.
sound alike a poopy local staff. Ups, generally speaking my here is in good standing compared to others….. maybe it branches from local management?
