Dingwall Owners Club

This is probably a total longshot, but is there anyone out there that'd be interested in swapping their 6 string FDVs for my NG-3 6's FD3's?

I was just thinking it'd be really neat to further differentiate my NG-3 from my D-Roc without needing to buy a Z3 or otherwise.

Let me know! :)

...meh. not my flavor

Not my kind of red either, but there’s plenty of folks who will love it.

as has been said, I tend to prefer the GBV end of the spectrum, but a really dark red like this could interest me:

I suppose that borders on purple, which goes to my GBV preference.

All that said, I would buy the heck out of a capri orange NG3 six, so I could swap the PG for a cream colored one and have my Creamsicle of Groove.

Haven't seen it on a Dingwall, not sure how doable it is, but this exists, so there's hope???

I think it only works because both strings are getting dropped, so the A tuner doesn't run into the E tuner. But I only briefly owned a bass with a Detuner, so not I'm not sure if the paddle moves towards the lower string or the higher string when you flip the switch.

I have not seen that type of 'double drop' contraption before!

A gratuitous and self-indulgent post of family photos:

Goldilocks (the "Sunshine Bass") just arrived home today, and she weighs in at a petite 8.0125 lbs. (~3.63kg), which I find to be "just right." Not bad for a little girl with three pickups, a preamp, six strings, and a belly full of porridge.

The primary subtractive colors are done. Now I just need to complete the full ROYGBIV collection.... ;)

Can you mix one Super Fatty II with two FD3s? I mean, I know you CAN, but is it something that might work, or is it best to stay with three of one or three of the other?

What concerns me would be more windings in the SFII would overpower the other two FD3s.
