Looks like the chances of more colors are quite good.

this is actually a preorder add too. Not even immediately available.

one thing I just picked up from an IG vid was that the Neve pre is making its DEBUT in the Rio bass.
I’ll assume, hopefully for those that want one, this pre will be available on its own in the future.

The JT sig is cool, but not my thing. I would love to hear one of those Neve preamps 'in person', though. It would be nice (and profitable!) if Neve offers them for sale. The vid was cool - I had no idea that they had built the Queen's first PA!

Sheldon says it actually has a sweet spot with low drive and the tone rolled back, and it works well with low-gain settings, so I'm really interested in playing with it to see what it can do.

Yeah I saw him talking about it doing sweet low gain tones all the way to all out distorted so I'm quite looking forward to receiving this pedal. Plus it's a pretty sleek design!

Hi Bill.

glad to see you here.

when you retired from Rootshock and ghosted the site here I feared perhaps you were putting the basses away for gardening.

I see with new purchases you are hopefully a long time off putting down the rastaburst!

Thanks! Yeah, I needed to walk away for a bit. I was psychologically and emotionally drained from doing what I'd been doing for so many years. Even through the pandemic I was still woodshedding 6 or so hours a day. Really needed to just put some time & distance between things. I've had some offers for gigs and not really been too interested, along with some PTSD style stuff that's slowly faded away. Hoping to have a better balance and try to make it fun again.

Good luck to you.

that’s a tricky balance to find I think, at least when life has other passions and commitments.
Im currently fumbling forward to find that balance with a recent project I’ve stepped into. Already, what should be fun can seem like/or be a burden at times.

you’ll find your sweet spot!
