Are interchangeable necks even possible with multi scale? I mean if you put a 2” longer neck on it would there be enough adjustment at the bridge to intonate the strings?

I was of course just making a ludicrous suggestion but it would be fun to have that option. I suspect the bridge would need to move a fair way to accomodate.

he’s played it in videos. It looks very similar to his Z but there are some very obvious differences like the control lay out and bridge. Not to mention the actual lines of the bass. lol. It kind of looks like a z knock off from china….. wait!!!

That’s exactly what I was going to say! That production-style bridge is a dead giveaway as well as the painted headstock (presumably to cut down the costs). I bet most people don’t even notice he’s been playing that new “Z” for almost a year or so since it’s so close to his original at first glance.
