Dingwall Owners Club

This is a value mod. You won’t lose money from it as long as you do a clean job.
With that, if you talk with dingwall, the insert may come with a template? Don’t quote me on that but I feel I recall a convo about it. That could have only been for Canadian models…. I could just be making stuff up too.

Yea, absolutely. I'm meticulous with stuff like this, so I expect it to come out super clean.

And if that's the case that would be wonderful. I'll reach out to Dingwall and see.

First gig with my 25lbs 2x12 carbon fiber cabinet. Venue was a large winery and I had volume to spare. Super punchy. Never going back to wood. Did I mention it weighs 25 lbs?

Are interchangeable necks even possible with multi scale? I mean if you put a 2” longer neck on it would there be enough adjustment at the bridge to intonate the strings?

That's how this whole business started with Novax :P Novax Guitars: Parts/Accessories: Bass Necks

I was of course just making a ludicrous suggestion but it would be fun to have that option. I suspect the bridge would need to move a fair way to accomodate.

Wonder what the Umansky signature model he keeps hinting at (and again today) will be like, and how close it'll be go the trans white one he usually plays.

he’s played it in videos. It looks very similar to his Z but there are some very obvious differences like the control lay out and bridge. Not to mention the actual lines of the bass. lol. It kind of looks like a z knock off from china….. wait!!!

That’s exactly what I was going to say! That production-style bridge is a dead giveaway as well as the painted headstock (presumably to cut down the costs). I bet most people don’t even notice he’s been playing that new “Z” for almost a year or so since it’s so close to his original at first glance. :)

Looks like some dropped of a [This invalid link has been removed].

Haven't we seen this one before? Seems like it was posted and discussed earlier, something about the finish?

Please correct me, I don't want to throw shade on anyone's sale post, even on another site.

But if that is the one, the consensus was to stay away...

Yeah i guess you are right. No wonder, they took terrible pics of it. Probably been sitting there for a while. Just unusual to see at GC
