Glad it’s a 6, no temptation

Never seen that before. Maybe uses one of these to tune them. And the tuners lookin like someone’s dog chewed on them
Is that going to be a production thing, or just a NAMM one off?

A lot of weird stuff happens over on that island! I mean….. Godzilla?!?!Re: Tuners on that Z with the poppin’ finish :
Remeber that episode of “Star Trek : TNG” where were there were these things called Nitrium Parasites that ate the metal on the hulls of spaceships? They went after the tuning keys on that bass. This is literally the only logical explanation.![]()
My magic 8 ball says that depends on the reactions they received at NAMM.

Can you post a few pictures of what you're getting and what other trans colours you're talking about? So I got an ABII 6 on order, with the curly walnut top and a trans black finish. I'm not convinced trans black is the best finish for walnut, however, now that I look at photos.
What trans colours would you go with on walnut? I'm not super picky, but I don't want another natural finish Dingwall (my ABZ looks spectacular in natural finish but I want something with a bit of wow!)

I'd be tempted to change the top wood if you want a trans colour, walnut is dark and looks great natural.
I tend to agree, imho transparent color works best on bleached tops … might be a tall order for walnut
Maybe do something bold with a color-infused maple contrast layer and/or a ceruse back?
That's actually a great idea... I'll look into that! Natural top with some other colour on the rest... would look epic!Would this be a mullet bass, business up front and party in the back?
