Fantastic bass, what are the specs on it and the colour combination?
Great looking bass, we'll done on your choices. I noticed a lot of people going for P Tone in the neck and SFII's in middle and bridge, do the SFII's over power the P Tone? The pickup specific sheet shows it would, but as we know real world can be very different.
I just swapped in 3x p-tones in my NG. Oh my... love it.
Indeed not subtleHave those in my Z3. Really great thunder. But neutral the sound is not

I saw an ABZ with only a neck PU and asked my dealer about it, turns out that isn't an option for mere mortals!
Interesting to see what they say if you ask them
1. really like what they did with the fast lane(except the name) I would definitely be interested in one but having an ABZ which is pretty no frills I can’t justify it. Excess isn’t in the cards for me.
2. Could be cool. Again, I wouldn’t do it but I’d love to see someone else’s P3X build!
i would guess he just got the D-Roc Hellboy (van der Loo) electronics incl. the distortion.
"The controls follow the same layout as the D-Roc Standard, with volume and tone controls and a four-way rotary pickup selector, but with an extra push/pull facility on the volume pot and an extra distortion level control. With the volume control up, the bass remains passive and the Darkglass circuitry is inactive, but push the volume control down and the full might of the drive circuit is unleashed."

An optional 4-knob configuration with Neve preamp for a custom D-ROC would definitely place it higher on my list for a custom build.
It was a custom color. Porsche Riviera Blue.
It's a bit brighter in better lighting.

I swapped the neck and middle pickup on my Combustion 4 and I am digging the results! I now have the middle solo, parallel middle and bridge, series neck and bridge, and bridge. The series neck and bridge is the biggest surprise and the reason I changed, the extra mid content gives the scooped jazz tone some authority. The middle pickup alone is quite nice as well. All in all it cost me ten minutes of my time to switch locations and it is easily reversed.
