I found instructions for a bridge solo 6 way rotary, does anyone have the instructions for a middle solo 6 way I can use for comparison?

It’s fun to build your existing bass and see what a new bass would cost you ( after a two year wait). Or for insurance value, or used pricing.
If you haven’t visited the FN site in a while, they have some great features and a section devoted to Dingwall longscale models and the string options Jason stocks. Helpfully organized by 4, 5, and 6 strings.
He’s just relocated the shop and there are tons of new/old stock and no longer stocked strings and gear in the “new location” sale section.
I picked up a set of TI JF made up of singles in the lengths for my AB -1 four string. $45. I don’t see TI or Infelds on the FN site any more. I think I just got lucky.
Check it and build your next dream Dingwall or find a deal on strings and Dingwall gear.

Really cool to see all the options, many you wouldn't even know existed without seeing a price list. Including 37" four string models!
For a slightly higher upcharge vs a 5 string, which is interesting. Must be super new.
I have 2 six ways, 1 for the SJ5XXX, one for the SJ4XXX. The only difference I can see is the yellow and orange wires are swapped, plus one is labeled aAA1, the other aBE2. I'm going for install after our 29 March gig. I found a schematic from May '24. I'm assuming the aAA1 is middle solo.

That build your custom Dingwall tool is very cool but sobering.
My 1st choice would be a 5-string 3-pickup Z3 with candy dark cherry dual-density ash/alder body, maple neck, wenge fingerboard, blue luminlay side dots, SFII pickups, and Neve pre. The $7200 base price would be $9000 with a 25% tariff and $9742.50 after an 8.25% sales tax. That tariff (after 4/2) would price it out of my budget.
My 2nd choice would a 5-string 3-pickup AB1 with vintage white alder body, wenge neck/fingerboard, blue luminlay side dots, SFII M/B pups, P-tone neck pup, and Neve pre. The $5545 base price would be $6931.25 with a 25% tariff and $7503 after an 8.25% sales tax. I'd love to have it but question if the wenge neck and Neve pre is worth $4000 more than what I've got in my upgraded NG3?

Yeah the first thing I did was to re-price my recently purchased Z. I put my order in before the price hikes, the my Z would now cost 25% more with the same specs. I'm wondering if Jason's prices factor in the tariffs.
I’m pretty sure they’re not factored in, but the way things are going I think it’s reasonable to assume they’ll be in place for a while.
I've completely lost the bit on the tariffs. Last I heard it was only on lumber and dairy? Is a blanket tariff back on again now?
This is a custom d-roc. Do you know the name of this color?
It doesn’t exactly look like the blue and purple colorshift from the standard line.
It could be metallic blueberry. That’s one of Dingwall’s standard offering paint colors. Admittedly, I have no idea what it actually looks like

I need to do some surgery on my ABHS and unfortunately the little screw terminals aren’t labeled, so I need to find out which leads from the pickups should be screwed down in which of the toggle terminals. Thanks in advance!
