That NG2 was my first Dingwall I ever owned. I tried a Dingwall for the first time at a Seattle Talkbass GTG and was hooked. I bought this bass from the Bass Shop. Then I put it up for consignment in this picture to fund an NG3. Ah memory lane.I was looking through some old photos the other day, and this one popped up. View attachment 7337234

That's cool. I wonder if this was before you owned it, cos the price tag says NEW on it? Either way, cool history to know. I think in those days Michael was running the GTG, over in the old Shipwreck? I miss running those, but, I'm farther away now, and I got some bad interactions the last couple of times...

I'll have to enjoy this one through others' experiences. My Dingwall cup runneth over with the ones I already have at hand. 
I did too. I ordered Ferrari Yellow.
Still have a D-Roc ordered, and while burl looks amazing, the van der Loo signature looks amazing as well, and hass distortion baked in. Checking each day for more info. It's kind of hard since I kind of accepted it would be passive, but now there's suddenly a new option..
I went Ferrari green / gloss, Neve, 3x FD3, switches. Should be good for a blues jam.
The black and red combo looks amazing, but I would also like to see the burst and red combo...
Anyone with a SP 1 5 string that could send the nut width? Online there are listed with a few different nut width at different retailers so it's a bit confusing (from 45.5-49mm so big difference)

Probably one is measuring perpendicular to the strings and the other is measuring the length of the nut?
The neck width at that point is about 1.75", the nut length is about 2"

Speaking of hard to resist. This just appeared on Reverb. Jason has excellent taste.
