Dingwall Owners Club

Pulled the trigger on this over the weekend. Version 1 blonde. decently priced considering shipping from BC, Canada. Also got hooked up at bassstringsonline.com and have a new set of Payson nickels headed my way to try out.

Pic isn't the greatest. Will post a better one once it is in my hands. Still awaiting my Super P/FD3 5er as well :)

Sweet! Congrats brother.

Anybody able to get on the DW forum? What's up with that? I actually needed it last night during a rewiring project:confused:

Yeah, the certificate used to authenticate their domain expired on 2/28. Your browser automatically checks it on your behalf every time you visit the website, and is warning you that it the certificate provided by dingwallguitars.com is expired. This basically means that someone could theoretically divert the traffic onto another website and pretend that they're the real dingwallguitars.com and steal your password. It is a security risk to use the website until they get a new certificate of authenticity, but you can still use it.

Thanks Bocete! Would have never figured that out on my own!

I came across a Super P 4 today at my local store today. Being curious I picked it up to see what fanned frets feel like. I was blown away! It felt so natural. The bass was light, the neck felt awesome, the action was low and had no buzzing and the tone was great. Are all Dingwall's built this way? :). I'd love to try a Super J as I'm after a J bass right now. I see the p and j both have a medium thin C neck. Is it exactly the same on both basses? I'd love to get a J if it has the same neck as the P I tried today.
