Since we are all fans of the Novax system, I was wondering if anyone had ever installed one of these on their bass? Down the road I could see putting one on my frankensteined Squire P. Lipstick on a pig I know...
ok, sure this has been answered a million times but...tasteless wankery in the upper register..is it possible with these? I checked youtube and I swear no one ventures past the 15th fret on the clips I've seen.
Upper register wankery is quite doable but the lower register sounds so good it often gets priority. Chording does sometimes take a slightly different approach.ok, sure this has been answered a million times but...tasteless wankery in the upper register..is it possible with these? Beautiful instrument! I'll bet there aren't that many tones you couldn't dial in with that setup. Is the tone and feel of that all wenge neck and FB noticeably different than a maple neck?

I'd prefer the headstock of the Moses.

MDBass, that is a beeeyootyfulll four-string Ding you got.
I haven't read great reviews on Moses necks. They're good quality I guess, but a lot of times, the customer service sucks.
Sheldon and crew know how to make necks. I only adjust my truss rod maybe once every six months when the weather changes........
And as for playing up past the 12th fret? Just takes a little more practice. I'll spend some time up there soloing with my funk ensemble when we gig next month and post video for the upper-fret naysayers.

That's purdy. It's a Super JP, though, right?Oh yeah I forgot to mention has anyone seen Alessandro Stellano's new Super P?
