I'm sorry to hear about your tendonitis.That is a purty red bass you're looking to trade, though!
I had it for years now, but it's gotten worse and worse. Ugh. I actually found my previous Dingwalls to be very relaxing on it, but lately it's been horrible. So I play my MTD 435, no issues. Weird. I almost wonder if I should try and get a 4 string Dingwall, then I could be more open to the model. Hmmmm....I'm going to try new strings too. There's something here I'm not putting together with all this. hahaha.
Ok off to order strings. If that doesn't help with the tendon issue, then I'll evaluate from there. I may still be able to adjust and am just not giving it enough time.
I did tonight mess with the trim pot inside the preamp and it made a HUGE difference in bringing the bass to life. Someone must have set it pretty dull previously.
