Why? I just like the tone better, and having the "pluggable" ports is a neat idea that is actually useful in reality as well.
Electric or Acoustic? I'm not sure I follow... acoustic would not have any amplification involved? But, I use my Dingwall, Spector, EBMMs and my electric upright through it and it works well.
Genere? Rock, Hard rock in one band, Symphonic Operatic heavy metal in another, and it's been used as a backline in open mic nights for several months.
Yes, I've owned (and gigged) a 15/6 and a 12/6/1. I've also played several different flavors of greenboy cabs at GTGs in this area.
In general, I don't just talk out of my ass and avoid using terms like "the best" and such. I wouldn't compare two pieces of gear if I did not own them at the same time. I've A/B'd greenboys and the AK cab that I have, and as I said, I prefer my AK over greenboy cabs.
