Got my Bearclaw Quilt ABII a couple of days ago - it was the one at the NAMM show, so it's gone from being built in Saskatoon to touch down here in the UK, via California in just a few weeks...

All I'm saying for now is I don't think I'll bother trying any other make again...

If you ask nicely enough, it turns out that the Voodoo body shape isn't as extinct as you might think. Here's my soon-to-be Z-1 in its earliest state. It's been on-deck since last spring!

Is that a 3 piece neck on your Afterburner? Mine has a 5 piece neck.

Its actually a 5 piece. the two outside pieces are on the 'outside' of the neck, an can only be seen where it widens out by the neck joint and up at the headstock.

I gig pretty often with the 4-banger (it's truly a standout bass in my collection), but to be honest, I have had the Prima 5 encased in glass, and it never leaves the house.
