If there was ever a bass worthy of glass encasement, IMO, yours would be it, but are you serious? NEVER leaves the house?

He's advertising it as an Afterburner II, but its not. Its an AB-1 with a preamp. The ABII would either have a walnut body , or if an older one, would have a mahogany body. I can believe that the shop might do an active ABI on very special request or put a maple top on an ABII on request, but not the other way around.

I gig pretty often with the 4-banger (it's truly a standout bass in my collection), but to be honest, I have had the Prima 5 encased in glass, and it never leaves the house.


Oh, yes! I simply must have a Z3!!!

The fun thing about the Z series is that they can be customized as much as the Prima basses, but tend to be a little more candy-like.
