Purple neon strings would be best![]()
Well, you have to consider I found this attractive, and actually gave me the inspiration for it.

Nah, the yellow one I've had for a while. It has undergone a transformation over in this thread:So why yellow and not the purple one, or weren't they out yet when you bought it?
That's what I'd expect Prince to have as his personal bass.Well, you have to consider I found this attractive, and actually gave me the inspiration for it.

I did the same thing. Dingwall nickels for the Dingwalls and Pure Blues for my weird fret basses.Love the nickels - they add that little extra growl without losing much (if any) zing. Started using DR Pure Blues (which are nickel) instead of Hi-Beams (SS) on my straight basses as well. Consider me a nickel convert.
Regards,
Michael

Now that's yellow!
Thou jest...but a YELLOW strap with a Black bass note on it would probably be really cool. On the other hand a Black Dingwall strap would set it off as well.Hmm...don't give me anymore ideas.....I considered a matching yellow strap but thought that was too much.![]()
I have a black Dingwall strap, a yellow stitched "D" logo might be a nice touch!Thou jest...but a YELLOW strap with a Black bass note on it would probably be really cool. On the other hand a Black Dingwall strap would set it off as well.
Yeah, that would really set it off.I have a black Dingwall strap, a yellow stitched "D" logo might be a nice touch!
My wife said it looks like a Lego. It definitely needs some red, green, and blue accents to really set it off. This wasn't an option from Sheldon, so I did a thing.....
Thank you Pat Wilkins! Luminlay dots installed as well. Pat lives up to his reputation, I can't even see a mask line anywhere on the headstock. Wow.....
