ok guys...so i acquired the combustion this afternoon...the Barts are too small for the pup holes and it is making my OCD flare...are there other brands of after market pups that fit better?

Dingwall may have some for you or maybe nordstrand?

I don't know about Combustions, but I had a luthier put Nordstrand Big Splits in my Afterburner. He had to rout the body slightly as the Nordstrands were a bit taller than the stock pickups.

This may be a stupid question but can anyone tell me which wires to solder together for series in the p-tone if the colours are reversed: I.e. black and white are positive and green / red are negative. Or is it still black and green and the swapping of polarity doesn’t matter?

Agreed. My buddy, @SickAura ,has a new-ish Super Pj in natural to blackburst gloss - prob the NICEST coloring ive seen.... hopefully he too posts another pic.

it's lighter than i would have imagined...and the original owner dropped bartolini's in it that don't completely fill up the pickup cavity which is driving me nuts...other than that i dig it

Finished the mods to my Combustion, 3x with a P-tone and changed the hardware to black everything but the tuners is plastidip as I didn’t want to spend loads replacing perfectly good parts.
