Agreed. My buddy, @SickAura ,has a new-ish Super Pj in natural to blackburst gloss - prob the NICEST coloring ive seen.... hopefully he too posts another pic.
Guys I am considering a used Dingwall for sale local to me...he sent pics but it appears that the stock pickups have been swapped for bartolini's....also its a five string combustion but it has no pick guard and only 4 knobs plus no active/passive switch...looks like the electronics have be changed as well (Stacked knob)

Yup. Version 1 maybe. I'm not familiar with the V1 V2 models.
If the price is good and the bass is in good shape I'm sure it won't disappoint. It looks nice. What can you get it for if you don't Mind me asking?

he sent more pictures and the serial number is 00093... so after digging this does indeed appear to be a V1...
apparently and aguilar OBP-3 has been installed in addition to the barts...
BTW I am trading for a guitar amp I don't use...
DO IT!!!! Lol. Sounds like a good choice. But be warned. There may be a rabbit hole you are about to wander down

ah...who needs an ol guitar amp anyway. Says he who has 5. I would trade any of my guitar amps for a Dingwall bass.

Just received notice that the swirls (and hopefully purple) are being worked on! I have 26 incoming.
It would have to be a heck of an amp for it not to be a good trade! Hurry up and get it already!

Thanks! I played it for 5 minutes this morning through this setup to make sure everything was amazing as usual, and WOW, what a bass! IMO one of the very best values available in the world of basses. I find the ABZ to just have that special majic of playability and sound. And this is a light bass too!

I agree. As for value goes these are hands down the winner.
Pick your electronics, ab neck, light, great woods, top of the line hardware. If I wasn't such a fool its where I shoulda maxed out at.
@96Brigadier scored a beaut with a wenge neck not too long ago if I recall.
I did indeed... the wenge neck is awesome, and I love how light the ABZ is. So nice to play!

ok guys...so i acquired the combustion this afternoon...the Barts are too small for the pup holes and it is making my OCD flare...are there other brands of after market pups that fit better?
