I just watched the video on that bag. I had not seen it before. It looks really fantastic - I'd like to see one in person. As I said, I'm very happy with the Contego, and for rehearsals, I think it's fine. But for gigging, I can definitely see the value of the Vertigo. Especially with a Dingwall that doesn't have a strap button right at the bottom end of the bass to land on when the gig bag hits the floor hard with a bass inside it.The entire reason for the Vertigo being my choice apart from the fantastic protection in and of itself is the top loading and boot. It's exactly what I've always wanted from a gigbag. So many banged up basses from unloading in too small rehearsal spaces with regular bags. Being 6'5" tall, the Vertigo really saves my back as well.
