DNA Owners Group

So I've been in communication with the DNA gang and it looks like an order for the 4 ohm, 4X10 cab will be placed once I get a bass sold. For most places my 2X10 should work but we've had a couple of shows where I could use a little more firepower. I've also considered another 2X10 but I think the 4X10 will make a great 1 cab solution. :bassist:

Yup, the DNS410 is absolutely a one-cab solution. I bought mine in 2015 and its been much more than enough indoors or outdoors, including festivals. That rascal has an SPL rating of 106db and it is super loud, clear, and articulate. I fear no Marshall double stacks and have no need to carry around an 810. And, if you really feel you need to add your 210 to it, that will work too. Just don't stand too close to it.

Yea, so this happened last night. That there is Peter Bremy playing my DNA 1350/DNA-410 rig at our gig!! The dude can play!

Wow. Well I ended up buying a MidAtlantic single rack shelf. the kind with all the holes on the bottom of it. Hopefully 4 holes will match up with the bottom of my DNA 800 to mount it to the shelf. Otherwise, I have to go into a massive search of our warehouse to find the rack ears for my 1350 and mount it in my rack.. I have got to do a better job keeping track of those things!!

But, I need my tuner, IEM's and it all goes nicely into my 4 space SKB rack! I actually hate carrying around my amp like it was a book. Kind of prefer the security of a hard case.

I carry mine in a mixer bag I bought a few years ago. Well padded, plenty of pockets etc. I know you have extra components to mount but it does a great job protecting the amp......and on another note, my DNA rig has been flawless the last several weeks.

Yes, this is overkill and loud. The DNS110 was purchased as a standalone for small venues, but is not seeing much use since the current band gets the 2x112 treatment.

The 800 head handled a 2.67ohm load just fine at a 4-hour band practice. BTW, the rack ears were tucked inside the foam of the shipping box. In case anyone did not find them at first, have a look.

do you think dna will put out a 2 x 12"? recently picked up two dns112's and was floored by the tone and sound of my 'b' string. i'm sure weight and sound performance might be an issue for a 212 cab but would definitely be in line if they made one...
I don't believe David is interested in making a 212. I asked about that back in 2010 and answer was that they were making 112's but not 212's because there wasn't much demand for them. Evidently the Eden D212XLT was not one of their best selling cabs when he owned Eden. Would really like to see one. I bought my 410 because I couldn't afford to buy two 112's. And of course, my DNS-410 is amazing!
