Really sorry to hear that. I might know who you are talking about if he's a member on TB. That so sucks to have to give up playing bass because of medical problems.![]()

Enjoy!Just picked up a DNS 210 & 115n. Haven't gigged them yet just a bit of low volume practice in the garage. So far loving the 115 with my Epi JC hollow body for that fat old school sound. Will be using the 210 this weekend on an upright bass - Quilter BB800 and Basswitch.
Question - does the N on the 115n mean it's Neo? because the cab still has some weight to it.
Yes. If it is the DNA-115N, that means it has the Neodymium speaker. The DNS-210 on top of the DNS-115 will sound massive! I use the DNS-210 for all my indoor venues.Just picked up a DNS 210 & 115n. I wondered if this would happen. Where/how did you get the news from?Well it looks as though David has decided to end the DNA amps line. Supply issues and on and on. Sad to see another great bass line go by the wayside
Dang, that sucks. Hope he lands firmly on his feet. Guess I better hoard a couple ceramic dns 112’s in case the well goes dry.Well it looks as though David has decided to end the DNA amps line. Supply issues and on and on. Sad to see another great bass line go by the wayside
Announcement on his DNA FB page:I wondered if this would happen. Where/how did you get the news from?
You say, “wrong”. I say, right.I think DNA probably did a few things wrong, they never really hit the mainstream market, didn't go the ultra lite cab thing, rat fur, need to invest more into a marketing/media. I love my DNA cabs BTW, gigged the 115 cab last night and it sound beautiful and didn't even break a sweat.
Well that's terrible news. I was contacted by the Artist Rep for DNA last week who was telling me he was no longer associated with DNA, but couldn't talk about it right then. Said he'd contact me for a chat when he was free to talk about it. So I haven't heard anything officially but it's easy to imagine since he's basically been doing everything himself. When I got my DNA-800 in 2021, he didn't have any available at the factory because of parts shortages. However, he said he had enough parts on hand to put one together for me and he did. He also signed it for me.Announcement on his DNA FB page:
*** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ***
From CEO David Nordschow:
It is with deep regret that I need to let you know we are ceasing operations and taking steps to shutter the company. With the current international business climate and continuing supply chain issues that has caused tremendous amounts of trouble for many firms, we unfortunately have had many of those same experiences. The last couple of years it has become challenging to get materials. We have lost several key suppliers for our products post pandemic. Many of the unique parts we need are simply no longer available. Without being able to produce our products we unfortunately cannot continue to operate the company effectively.
To our customers & artists -
We very much appreciate your loyalty and support over the years. We will continue to provide service to the best of our ability for the next several months. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you... and we thank you so much.
For service please contact: [email protected]

I got hooked on the Eden cab sound and they crashed. I find out the news of the advent of DNA and all is right with the universe! Now, DNA crashesWell that's terrible news. This notice from David really sucks. Understandable but is very sad. My DNS cabs are the best I've every played through or heard and my DNA-800 amp is just a great amp.
