Do Stickers Make a Bass Trashy?

Not my thing, but it's your bass. If you want to sticker it then go for it.

I use the analogy, "Would you put stickers all over your car." I would never, ever do either.

But I don't care what other people do with their stuff.

I have since put a small Marine Corp sticker on the neckplate of my main player.

Just one... I make sure I have a cross on every bass... I actually cut a cross out of the pickguard on my G&L JB and it came out really cool... this one is just electrical tape...

My BEAD bass, which started life as a cheap Peavey P-bass copy, is now adorned with a few stickers from other local bands I like. Currently sporting a sticker from Laudanum, one from Folivore, and one from Privatized Air. It's ugly as sin anyway, so I figure I may as well.

I personally dont like stickers on a bass,the manufacturers go to some trouble to put a nice finish on and then someone covers it up with sticky plastic, if some like it then thats their choice

I've changed mind on this. I used to tut about stickers and now I quite like them. It shows the owner OWNS the bass rather than just keeping it for a short period. It makes it unique and their signature instrument.

Stickers on you bass or guitar is too typical imo. I'm tired of seeing punk bands with Fugazi stuff all over the body of their Jazz bass, for instance.

I put a vinyl thing on my white mia jazz. Leaves no marks and is fairly small. It's Dipper from Gravity Falls clutching his hat to his head so it looks like he's fighting the sound of the bass. If I were to sell it id take it off. I want a black mia pbass to put a Mabel vinyl on as well.

I dont have an obsession with that show or anything, but I thought it looked neat and differentiated this bass as mine from the tons of standard bass' here.

I put (tame) bumper stickers and band stickers (like pink Floyd) on the case too. Never on the car though. Nobody should care about anyone's ignorant unsolicited opinion especially when operating two tons of metal going 60
