Do Stickers Make a Bass Trashy?

Don't have any on my current bass (white and tort jazz needs no modification) but all my guitars have at least one. I have a picture of one of them. I was in a metal band when I was 13 and my bass then was covered in nails that I had hammered in to spell the name of the band. I'll see if I can find a picture.
Anyway, I like to modify the aesthetic of my instruments in at least some small way. That way it's my instrument. And if one is the kind of person that is worried about other people thinking their bass is trashy or whatever, then their opinion doesn't really matter. ImageUploadedByTalkBass1392068255.863974.jpg

I don't normally put stickers on my instruments but I have on two of them due to finish damage. I used the stickers to cover them up- actually really made them look better than before.
I bought the stickers from this store in Japan- well worth it and they have some really nice ones that go on the neck. Best part is that the stickers are easily removed if you want to do so.
this store also does custom truss rod covers with engravings - below is a sample from one of his ebay listings.

Wow! I like these. Question: Are the designs on a clear base that sticks on or are they cut out? I really can't see any clear base to these.

A very interesting store!

They're cut out- no clear base whatsoever. Sticker is really incredibly nice quality especially the pearl looking ones. It's a decal - very thin so it doesn't jut out like a normal sticker would.
Shipping was also fairly fast considering it came from overseas- I've ordered twice from them and was very happy with the purchase both times. I bought the flame dragon one time to cover the damaged finish on a guitar and it looks great, really got a lot of comments on that one. The neck decals look really nice too, I may do that sometime soon to one of my basses.
