Do Stickers Make a Bass Trashy?
Yes. Some like it trashy though, to each their own.
EDIT: I should add I think it depends on what the stickers are ... metal band names, skulls and similar stuff - yes definitely trashy. Stickers for things like breast cancer awareness - not so much.

ummm you all do realize that stickers do come off by peeling and using a little rubbing alcohol or ronson lighter fluid , no harm no foul

Of course they do, but trashy works in some instances. If I played in a really punky kind of band, I'd love to have a bass with stickers on it (Assuming I had a bass to do that with, as there's no way I'm slapping something on my '87 Precision or my Kingston Heir 5).
Doesn't it depend on wether it's a solid body, semi- hollow, or a full hollow body?
But doesn't answer the question do you WANT your bass to look trashy? If the answer is "yes" then stickers are obviously your answer.
It's a Rock and Punk thing.

For the record: it doesn't matter what your bass looks like, it matters what you do with it. It's your bass, make it look however you want it to look! Here's mine:
