Does anybody just plug and play anymore?

Hahahaha :roflmao::laugh::roflmao::laugh::roflmao:

I'm plug and play. Well except for going through a tuner, to my MB212-II combo. That GK combined with my basses have all the tonal possibilities I need.

I do have some pedals that I mess around with at home from time to time though. T-Rex Bass Juice and a DOD FX62 Chorus. For the music I play and my band...there's just no place for effects on the bass.

I almost always plug straight in. I don't have anything against effects and I own a few pedals but I tend not to want to bother with a big signal chain and more things to worry about. Unless there's a specific tune I want to use an effect on - which is almost never - I just plug in and go.

I do tend to use a lot of effects on Chapman Stick, but I play that a lot less than I play bass.

.... talent booster, etc.
Boy, could I ever use one of those!!!

i used to like to walk in last minute, bass in one hand, already plugged into the polytone minibrut IV in the other with the power cord in my fingers, walk straight to the nearest wall outlet, plug in just as the first song was starting and be right there at the fast part. those were the days
