Does your bass collection have a theme?

I know mine does and would like to hear others. Some people might choose different sounds, maybe just color, number of strings, whatever. The theme to my collection is to have all the standards. I know that might be a bit subjective, but this is how I see it. I have MIA Fender P, MIA Fender J, Hofner Viola Bass, and a RIC 4003. To wrap it up, I'm thinking I'll have to add a Gibson Thunderbird and a Musicman Stingray. Does that complete the theme? :) And do you have a theme to your collection?

Covering all the basses is all I try to do. I play metal, funk, country, blues, 80's covers, etc.

5 string active Fodera with dual coils
4 string passive Jazz with rounds
4 string passive P with flats
4 string active Fretless
Acoustic bass

Not many tones I can't nail with these 5 basses IME.

Nice theme! By genre!

That good? Interesting. I never played one myself.
not for everyone i'm shure but I love them, since I got my euro lx4 I don't feel the need to play any other bass, except more spectors, i'm hoping to replace my ibanez 5string with a spector rebop5 this weak(bolt on euro version of the ns style body) and hopefuly get up the cash for a USA made ns-2 someday
every bass player should play a NS style bass at least once, their realy is no other bass like it.
