I can totally relate to posting a vid or recording here, only to get crickets...
I am starting to think that the internet is a more polite place than I thought - the people who think "you suck" (referring to me, not to you Smogg - you sound good and I dig the band name) are polite enough not to post it... :D

Okay FBV in an effort to redeem myself, here's a couple when I/we were not so much sticks in the mud. And I think I only screwed up once ;)

Age and bad knees keep me from doing the high kicks and jumping off of speakers though.

I neglected this thread over the weekend and have missed some great posts. I'm working through the vids you guys have posted, thanks for sharing. And my apologies for the multiple posts responding to folks in the catch up process.

Have to go to work now, will check out some more later.

I feel that there is not enough Bass. (maybe it just didnt pick up well?..)

I also feel ...(MY OPINION Rather )Is that the guitar tone is waaay to ..."twangy?"
(again maybe the camera...except i read that what we're viewing is how it was there)

Other than that, and based solely on these recordings, My OPINION...is that its..okay.

But reading it again, it almost looks like a revenge post as if to say "take that evil
do-ers"

DeluxeRed is at it again. For some reason, I thought dude was banned. Oh well, I guess we're a forgiving community. Or we're cruel enough to let someone make a fool out of themselves.

Anyway, I'm glad the thread turned for the better with people posting their performances.

Here's my contribution. Forgive my guitardness, but the hot female singer should make up for some of it.

Great clip. Singer is pretty hot, but I'm curious to see what she looked like when she was a nappy headed boy. The surgeon must have been truly gifted.:D

I love the name of that band. Wish we had a front person that much fun to watch. Would take the pressure off my boringness

I finally got to see some of the DR thread that lead to this. Wow! All I can say is humility is a virtue, try some. I'm glad this turned out to be what it is too. I love seeing all of the others out there doing their thing and having a good time. And it seems like we all know where we stand in the pantheon of talent. Not as good as some and better than others, but there is room for all.

And there are some notable kick ass performances in this thread :bassist:

Not sure what the patch is on the guitar to get that sound. He uses some kind of fancy fx processor. I'm guessing harmonizer and/or doubler then, keyboardist splits her keys to get strings and organ and plays chords to hold up the lead. This leaves the drummer and I to hold down the bottom.

We do things like that on quite a few tunes and it really gives the rhythm section a lot of freedom. That is why I really dig the band, the fronts give the drummer and I a lot space to do our thing and are surprisingly easy to work with. No "Rock Star" egos to deal with so the gigs are always fun.

Like I said earlier, we are just a week end warrior band but we try to always have a good time. :D
