Cockroach eggs? Nothing that a little bleach can't solve.
Do you play any gigs where you'd like to smash an instrument?
If yes, it's your lucky day.
Do you ever want to learn to work on a bass?
If yes, you now have a 'prototype' you can work on. I'd love to have a bass like this to practice finish repairs and woodwork. It may not be capable of being set up properly, so I'd check with some dead strings I would otherwise throwaway before spending a penny on it. But, you don't need strings to work on the finish or take out/add hunks of wood.
Do you plan to actually play this thing?
If yes, make sure you thoroughly clean and disinfect it. Keep in mind that it may never play well.
Do you plan to sell this thing?
Throw it back in the trash unless you are willing to sell it for $10-20. The time and money you'll spend to make it of any worth will put you in the negative.
