Dumpster find. Warning: Rogue content. How lucky am I?

You could get a really cheap set of tuners off Aliexpress for the cost of one decent one. Looks like a fun risk-free project beater, I’d fix it up and flog on it.
Found this heap today. Looks like someone removed the frets with their teeth (not a terrible job really). Also came with what looks like milky white drip stains and cockroach eggs in the electronics cavity. Slight back bow on the neck, and missing tuning peg. Wondering how much effort I should put into fixing this monstrosity.
Is this my luck day?

Go to the Goodwill Auction site and fine a cheap bass that has parts that will work on this one.
When the Goodwill bass arrives, chuck this back in the dumpster. ;)

I love reading the comments. Me and my hatchling roach babies have decided to refinish, and resurrect this bass to playing condition. Then at my next show smash it and set it on fire. That should get me banned from another venue here in the 210. Totally worth it though.

I'm sure it's been said, but you can probably buy a new one for less than what it'll cost to fix up that one.

Bad news OP....the owner wants his bass back:
