I'm liking my Bagdad. It's got so much gain I don't really need anything else. It's great doing low gain tones but I tend keep the GT120 overdrive side up with the depth almost maxed. Currently playing around with my Pharaoh on the germanium mode going into it also tried my Minotaur Saturnine on the boost mode to push Bagdad even more, I loved that one. I got the Giza on in the background going into another amp for that deep bass to compliment Bagdad.
Thanks for posting your review. I had a knee surgery Friday, day after getting back to Cali. So, I probably won't be able to play guitar for a few more days. But, I will report more of my thoughts when I can stand and bare weight on my knee.
I will confirm that pushing the Baghdad is a good thing. I pushed my Baghdad with a Volt Thrower.

I was raading through an old thread here about the Wren & Cuff Super Russian & there was mention of a Dunwich Russisn style muff w/ mids called the 'DU-95' I tried searching the web but nothing popped up, is that a thing or did it have a different name?

I've been creeping around this thread for a while and that doesn't ring a bell. Some others are more knowledgeable about the rare one-offs, so I'm hoping the can help.
I did sit down this week and try getting my Wizard to mimic a W&C Box of War. I couldn't get them to sound identical. I did get into a similar range, but could still hear some notable differences. I'm going to experiment a little more with this. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

I do remember that graphic, but didn't recall the name or circuit design.
I've been in contact with that guy over the years. He lives in The Bay and says he'll die with it. I'll try bothering him again.

It is, for sure ! Stupidly sold mine during Covid, missed the flavour ever since and have it back on the board thanks to an overseas trade dealt with a TBer and fellow regular poster in Effects forum. Amazing sounding pair with the ODB as a bonus !

I just got an ODB as well, landed on those same settings, I wanna love it but dont so Im trading it for a Fuzz Throne
ODB and fuzz throne are VERY different. It's like saying I didn't enjoy driving this truck so I got a motorcycle instead.
I usually set mine in 'no-diode' position and a tad less bass-heavy settings. Clean-ish cutting tone for days which drastically change the voicing of dirt pedals it feeds / being thrown in.
