Henriksen JazzAmp 10 solid state with 120 watts. I got it for guitar, then sold all my guitars. Now all I have is this little Stingray Special.
Do you know when that SR Special was released? I don't recall that particular BFR series.
I just bought mine last week from Guitar Center. It’s a BFR #30 of 40. Completion date was 6/13/22.
Odd. I wonder if it's a guitar central exclusive or a BFR that hasn't been made public yet which would be odd.

These are Guitar Center Exclusives . They came in this ruby punch finish and a platinum punch ( silver) sparkle finish. Only 4 string.
Think they are still available but have to be ordered. They say available on website. But no image available. Price is $3500 list.

So my aqua sparkle 5HH has a little brother on the way:
Id probably go with aged /cream pearl, but that's just me. Black works, but so will tort. Yes, nice grain.
Those are really cool, short scale 5 would be an instant buy for me.
Now...can we have a passive switch on the Stingray Special? Would be much appreciated

But I do like the idea or an aged pearl also.
I haven't done it with my bass (yet?), but I have considered installing a clear pickguard to show off more of the burst that the big Stingray 5 pickguard hides.
I'm a unrepentant, die hard burst fan but but the charcoal sparkle is the finish that started opening my eyes and mind after seeing one in Guitar Center (also a 5HH). And then some in this thread helped continue that by gently applying some subtle sparkle peer pressure / encouragement. Maybe someday.
